Opposition leader Dr. Peter Phillips says the new shadow cabinet will be named by the end of next week. He made the disclosure at the People’s National Party’s post-conference press briefing on Monday.
Dr. Phillips had indicated earlier, that the shadow cabinet would be reorganized after the annual conference which ended Sunday.
Some spokespersons who had supported presidential challenger Peter Bunting had resigned after the presidential election, but Dr. Phillips asked all spokespersons to remain in place.
He gave an update on the timeline for naming the shadow cabinet.
The PNP President was asked if there would be any drastic change to the team of spokespersons.
Dr. Philips reiterated that there would be a place for Mr. Bunting’s supporters if they are willing to serve.
