Jamaica’s Reggae Girls were on fire last evening as they opened group b of the Olympic qualifying competition inside the National Stadium on a winning note.
They blew away Cuba 12-1 to open their campaign for a place in the Olympic tournament next year in Japan.
In the opening game of the double-header Barbados outscored St Lucia 3-2.
The reggae girls will be back in action on Friday against Barbados.
In the meantime the group b qualifiers continue tomorrow with st Lucia facing the U.S. Virgin Islands at 4 and Cuba opposing Barbados at 6.30
The group winner will progress to the 2020 Concacaf Championship, from which the top two teams will qualify for the 2020 Olympics in Japan.
