by October 15th, 2019

Entertainers Christopher Martin and D Major are lending their voices to raise awareness for Breast Cancer.

In a series of video campaigns for Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Chris Martin and D Major branded in pink t-shirts and wearing pink boxing gloves, appeal to women to not only do regular breast self-checks but to go and get their mammograms done.

Under the hashtags: early detection saves lives, get your breasts checked, beat breast cancer, and join the fight, the videos released today, have been tagged to the Jamaica Cancer Society, and shared by Black Ink, a multifaceted full-service marketing and event agency.

Dancehall deejay Jahmiel also shared a post on his social media pages, where he sent condolences to those who lost loved ones to cancer, encouraged those who are currently fighting to stay positive, and gave a shout out to those who have defeated breast cancer.

OCTOBER is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. This year it’s observed under the theme ‘Give Hope; Save Lives.’ As usual, men and women locally are being asked to show support for breast cancer survivors and those battling the disease by wearing pink ribbons or clothing.
