The West Indies women builds moment

The West Indies women’s are all set to build a momentum heading into major international events next year, and will take on India in the first one day international today at the sir Vivian Richards stadium in Antigua as part of that first step.

The team will be led by Jamaican Stafanie Taylor, and includes compatriots Chadean Nation, Natasha Mclean and Chinelle Henry.

The new comers include Aaliyah Alleyne and Shawnisha Hector were selected into the main squad for the first time, with Hector having been reserve player before.

The second ODI will also be played at the sir Viv Richards stadium on Sunday

The full squad: Stafanie Taylor – captain, Anisa Mohammed – vice captain, Aaliyah Alleyne, Afy Fletcher, Britney Cooper, Chedean nation, Chinelle Henry, Stacey-Ann King, Kyshona Knight, Natasha Mclean, Shabika Gajnabi, Shawnisha Hector, Shermaine Campbelle and Sheneta Grimmond .
