Stafanie Taylor moves up to the number 2 spot among batters and all-rounders

Jamaica and West Indies star Stafanie Taylor has moved up to the number 2 spot among batters and all-rounders on the latest ICC Women’s One day international rankings.

It comes after her player of the series performance in just concluded ICC Women’s Championship three-match One-Day International series against India in Antigua.

Taylor led the ‘Windies women batting, compiling 193 runs at an average of 64.33, with a high score of 94.

top spot on the batting rankings is held by Amy Satterwaite of New Zealand while Hayley Mathews….who returned from suspension…was the next highest west Indian at number 32.

Among all-rounders Taylor’s 418 points sees her behind Elyse Perry of Australia who leads the way on 523.

Mathews…..16 and Deandra Dottin…joint 19th are the other West Indians inside the top 20.

No West Indian is inside the top 10 of the rankings for bowlers……with Taylor at 17 again leading the way for the Caribbean team followed by Afy Fletcher…24.
