The National Environment and Planning Agency (NEPA) says it is probing reports of an incident involving a crocodile attack on swimmers in Hellshire, St. Catherine, and is urging citizens to avoid the area.
The incident reportedly took place on Thursday, November 14, and was reported to NEPA on Friday.
Two persons were allegedly wounded in the attack.
NEPA public education and corporate communication manager, Ollyvia Anderson, is reminding persons to observe the signs posted in areas known to be crocodile habitats to avoid attacks.
