The West Indies women suffered a five game T/20 international series whitewash against India women after going down by 61 runs in providence, Guyana in the fifth and deciding game on Wednesday night.

Batting first and led by Veda Krish-namurthy who smashed an unbeaten 57 off 48 balls, India scored 134 for 3 off their allotted 20 overs.

Jemimah Rodriquez supported with an even 50.

Hayley Matthews, Anisa Mohammed, and Aaliyah Alleyne took a wicket a-piece.

Chasing 135 runs for victory the Caribbean women were blown away for 73 for 7 off their 20 overs.

Kyshona Knight the best player in double figures with 22 while wicket-keeper Shemaine Campbell was left unbeaten on 19.
