The Barbados Cricket Association (BCA) has moved swiftly to help one of the country’s oldest legends get urgent medical attention.

As a result of the BCA’s quick action, an unwell Sir Everton Weeks was able to gain admission to the Queen Elizabeth hospital earlier this week after it was reported that he was not admitted by another health institution.

The BCA says they will take care of all his expenses and ensure that he is well taken care of.

According to reports, the 94-year-old Sir Everton, who was in need of emergency medical care, was taken to a private facility.
