by January 15th, 2020

With the first vessel slated to dock at the Port Royal cruise pier on Monday, Mayor of Kingston, Delroy Williams says coordination among the relevant agencies is important for the pier’s success.

He says the security forces, development agencies among others, must work together to ensure that tourists have a good experience and as such will return for future tours.

Mr. Williams lauded organizations and Prime Minister Andrew Holness for the level of coordination which exists thus far.

The Mayor also notes that the newly constructed pier will help Kingston in achieving its vision of being a cruise destination.

He was speaking with reporters following the Kingston and St. Andrew Municipal Corporation’s monthly meeting, yesterday.
