A budget of over 125 million Jamaican dollars or 1 million us dollars will be required for the staging of the 15th staging of the Jamaican international invitational later this month .

There will also be over 200 thousand us dollars or 25 million Jamaican dollars in prize monies that will be paid out to athletes at the 15th edition of Jamaica international invitational

The meet which is an IAAF World Challenge meet is set to take place on Saturday May 19 at the National Stadium.

The prize monies will be in addition to the appearance fees that will be paid out to the athletes

There will be a total of 17 events on the program.
