Acclimatization in gear for Jamaica’s Athletes at IAAF Under 20 Athletics Championships in Finland

The Acclimatization process has begun for Jamaica’s Athletes at the IAAF Under 20 Athletics Championships in Tampere Finland.

Most members of Jamaica’s contingent with the exception of four are now settled in the city of Tampare Finland ahead of next Tuesday’s start

The four remaining members are expected to arrive tomorrow.

Roger Hasfal is in Finland and provides this report.

About three members of the group, including men’s triple jumper Owayne Owens, are expected to arrive tomorrow……… as the Cornwall college student was delayed in Jamaica following his application for a us student visa after being offered an athletics scholarship to the university of Virginia.

Petersfield high’s Kevon stone was a late addition and is down to participate in the men’s 200metres.
