Dancehall deejay Aidonia will soon have his very own strain of marijuana in collaboration with Epican Medicinal Limited, Jamaica’s first cannabis dispensary.

Aidonia who has been privy to receiving the first draw on a number of strains, since signing as a brand ambassador for the cannabis brand, just two weeks ago, was invited to the lab to once again test strains, and additionally, this time, help to create his own strain.

In a post on their official Instagram page a few days ago, Epican Jamaica tapped fans to help them name Aidonia’s upcoming strain. The brand shared a photograph of Aidonia in the lab, with the caption, “Aidonia in the Epican lab developing his new trademark strain. What do you think he should name his strain? Best answer wins.”

Having recorded several songs to show his love for marijuana, Aidonia signed a historic deal in 2019 as a brand ambassador for Jamaica’s first official cannabis brand.
