The Jamaica Air Traffic Controllers Association (JATCA) says its members remain restive, following an emergency conciliatory meeting with the Jamaica Civil Aviation Authority yesterday (January 31).
President of JATCA, Kurt Solomon said the Association finally received a response from the Ministry of Finance to its wage claim, which it will be discussing in detail in a meeting this morning.
Mr. Solomon said the air traffic controllers are having challenges with the process outlined by the Ministry of Finance for negotiations.
He said the workers remain restive.
