Grammy-nominated reggae singers Chronixx and Protoje, joined R&B singer Alicia Keys on Thursday night, for a live Instagram premiere of the ‘Underdog Remix’.

The brand new collab, best described as a pop-reggae fusion, sees Protoje spitting rhymes at the start of the inspirational track, followed by Alicia Keys chorus, and then, a smooth verse from Chronixx.

In fine Jamaican style, Alicia Keys got her followers on Instagram interested and pumped for the new track, via an Instagram Live of herself, and her producer husband Swizz Beats playing pool in their garage while vibing to music from Buju Banton. Alicia Keys then introduced the new single, as both Protoje, and Chronixx, joined her IG live at separate times to share their excitement about the new single, and what it meant for them to collaborate with the R&B singer.

The ‘Underdog Remix’ which is expected to be a feature on Alicia Keys’ upcoming album, was released across all digital streaming platforms at midnight on Friday, March 27.
