An alleged gunman has been hospitalized under police guard following a confrontation with lawmen in Spring Park, St. Elizabeth, yesterday.

Reports are that about 6:00 p.m. the alleged gunman had a confrontation with the police and was shot.

The police say a Taurus .357 Magnum Revolver with three rounds of ammunition was seized during the incident.

Investigations continue.
