The man, in a video of an alleged rape, which has been circulating on social media, is to be questioned by the police today.

This after the police confirmed yesterday that he had been identified and was in custody.

An official from the communication arm of the police, C-C-U, told Irie F-M News this morning that the accused was seeking legal representation, after which he will be questioned.

The police have also made contact with the female who was allegedly raped.

They have also confirmed reports that the victim is an adult despite earlier reports which suggested she was about 15 years old.

The Centre for the Investigation of Sexual Offences and Child Abuse, CISOCA is investigating the matter.
