Jamaica’s Alphonso Cunningham finished outside the medal placing in the men’s Shot Put F53 event at the ongoing Paralympic Games in London.
Cunningham finished 8th in the event yesterday with his best effort being 5.58 meters achieved on his second throw.
The event was won by Hemami Mokhtari of Iran with a throw of 8.35 meters.
Shane Hudson is Jamaica’s lone medallist so far at the games with a silver he won in the men’s 400 meters.
