Jamaican Commonwealth Games finalist Andre Clarke was in top form at today’s star athletics sprint series in Florida.

This after he ran a personal best of 48.29 second on his way to victory in the men’s 400 meters hurdles.

He surpassed his previous best of 49.09 sseconds done ……to win the Grenada invitational in April.

In Florida today, Clarke defeated fellow Jamaicans Annsert Whyte, 49.09 and Rommel Lewis crossed the line in 49.48 seconds.

Clarke is now the fastest Jamaican over the one lap obstacle this year, as he beat the previous best of 48.83 seconds set by Kemar Mowatt at the NCAA championships last night.
