Another fire broke out at the Grand Bahia Principe hotel, in Runaway Bay St. Ann, on Monday.

It’s reported that around 2 pm renovation works were being carried out on the compound, when the fire started.

No one was injured in the blaze.

Earlier this month, another fire damaged sections of the hotel.

Director of internal organization and corporate social responsibility at the hotel, Fabian Brown told Irie Fm news that Monday‘s fire was confined to one of the attics being renovated.

He noted however, that the renovations continue, and the fire has not impacted services being offered at the establishment.

He added that the renovations were not linked to the fire earlier this month, which damaged one of the hotel’s restaurants.
