The Ministry of National Security has launched an anti-lottery scamming campaign.
The campaign dubbed “Do The Math” is designed to connect the dots to show the corrosive impact that scamming is having on Jamaicans and Jamaica.
National Security Minister, Peter Bunting, says audiences especially those in area one which covers St James, Trelawny, Hanover and Westmoreland, will be targeted with radio and television advertisements, billboards, school interventions, posters and community talks.
He says the campaign will be bringing the message: #scammingkills.
Mr Bunting adds that the campaign seeks to show the negative consequences of the illegal practice.
