Queen of soul Aretha Franklin is dead at 76.

Franklin passed away Thursday in her Detroit home where she was under hospice care.

Aretha Franklin, known for having one of the greatest voices in music history, is known for hits such “Respect,” and “(You Make Me Feel Like) A Natural Woman” and countless others.

She died after a long battle with advanced pancreatic cancer.

Aretha Franklin came to fame in 1966 after signing with Atlantic Records. She has won over 18 Grammy awards, a Hollywood Walk of Fame Star, the Presidential Medal of Freedom and more.
