Manager Arsene Wenger secured his record seventh FA Cup title as Arsenal turned in a workman like performance this afternoon to beat Chelsea 2-1 and win the FA cup silverware at Wembley.

The ‘Gunners’ went in front after just 4 minutes through Alexis Sanchez with a controversial goal ……..but Chelsea who was reduced to ten players after victor Moses was sent off….. got a lifeline through Diego Costa as Arsenal keeper David Ospina failed to keep out his deflected shot with 14 minutes left.

However, Arsenal, outstanding throughout, refused to give up and were back in front inside three minutes later when Aaron Ramsey, who scored the FA cup final winner against Hull City in 2014, scored the winner with a header from substitute Olivier Giroud’s cross.
