Former 100-metre world record holder Asafa Powell will launch his very own fitness wrist band titled ‘ active’ come tomorrow.

The Olympic and world championship relay gold medalist says it is the first in his line of athletic products, adding that he is hoping the active band will inspire more people to embrace a healthy lifestyle.

The band works with an app that allows the owner to combine all their day-to-day activities like their fitness regime, on their phone on an easy-to-read dashboard, where the user can monitor calories burned, steps taken, distance walked or run, along with other features.
