At least 95 people have been killed in road crashes since the start of the year.

The latest fatal crash occurred in Hanover, yesterday.

Dead is 59-year-old George Kellier, a labourer of Prospect District, Green Island in the parish.

Reports are that about 4:10 p.m., Kellier was driving his motorcycle along the Industry Cove main road, when he collided with a Voxy motorcar which was overtaking a line of traffic.

Kellier sustained injuries and died on the spot.

Investigations are ongoing.
