Bangladesh tour of the Caribbean next February could be pushed back

by August 24th, 2017

Bangladesh’s tour of the Caribbean, scheduled for February of 2018 is likely to be pushed to July.

If any change is required in the schedule between the West Indies and Bangladesh in the upcoming tour, it will be necessitated by the world cup qualifiers, scheduled for next march and West Indies, currently ranked ninth in the ICC ODI standings, are likely to feature in the tournament.

Both cricket West Indies and the Bangladesh cricket board (BCB) have tentatively agreed to the change.

Following the qualifiers, the West Indies will host Sri Lanka in June followed by the series against Bangladesh a month later.

The change would probably come as a relief for Bangladesh, as, without it, they would have to pack their bags quickly for the Caribbean tour in February right after their home series against Sri Lanka.
