The social media punches between dancehall deejays Beenie Man and Spice continue.

A day after Spice’s lengthy Instagram post which sparked chatter on social media and among industry circles, Beenie Man has responded to with a video explanation.

In the video posted on social media, Beenie Man who was crowned the King of the Dancehall at Reggae Sumfest in 2009, explains that what he said was taken out of context.

It all started when Beenie Man stated during an interview that the Queen of Dancehall was baptized and that he was waiting for a new queen.

Clearly not happy with Beenie Man snubbing her efforts for the title; Spice fired several shots at the doctor. In a nutshell, Spice questioned what Beenie Man did as “king.” She compared him with Bounty Killer stating that unlike the War Lord, Beenie has never “buss” anyone including his own daughter who gained recognition as a dancer with Ding Dong. Putting the icing on the cake, with a cherry on top, Spice said the King of the Dancehall is incarcerated.

Some fans for Vybz Kartel, Spice and Beenie Man have since engaged in an online war of words with each defending their artists.
