Finance Minister Dr Nigel Clarke said a bill is to be tabled in parliament to create a number of changes to the pension programme.

Speaking at in the budget debate, Dr Clarke said new legislation will ensure that people can be eligible for pension, within five years.

It will also allow people to transfer pension contributions from one work place to another.

Dr Clarke noted that the new policy will increase involvement in the pension programme.
