The body of excavator operator Peter Morgan was found on Sunday evening, after an extensive search following a freak accident at a marlpit in Exton near Junction on Saturday.

Morgan was reportedly operating the heavy duty equipment, when a boulder hit the excavator and is believed to have trapped him under rubble shortly after 2:00 pm.

A search was launched to retrieve Morgan on Saturday and continued on Sunday.

Firefighters, excavator operators and Morgan’s relatives were among the search party who found his body, shortly before 8:00 pm.
