Capleton is set to return to Kingston and St. Andrew Parish Court later this month after the trial last week was marred due to a bomb threat.

The entertainer’s lawyer, Christopher Townsend explains.

Mr. Townsend further states that Capleton’s legal team is awaiting a police investigation into claims that the deejay was extorted.

In April, Capleton was slapped with rape charges after he was accused by a hairdresser. The dancehall deejay has since denied the accusations claiming he was extorted.

Capleton is to reappear in court on September 21.
