Former West Indies captains Brian Lara and Ramnaresh Sarwan, will join the West Indies pre-series camp in Antigua ahead of the first test match against India starting next Thursday in Antigua.

The pair will share their immense knowledge, experience and expertise in mentoring capacities with the members of the 13-member squad which is led by Captain Jason holder.

West Indies and India will play two tests – from August 22 to 26 at the Sir Vivian Richards cricket ground in Antigua and from August 30 to September 3 at Sabina Park.

The two match test series signal the start of the new ICC World Test championship (WTC) for both teams.

In the 96 times both teams have met in the test format – West Indies have won 30 times, India have won 20 while 46 matches have been drawn.
