West  Indies  batting legend Brian Lara is  recuperating  from  injury  after   enduring  a  hard  fall  at  his  home.

The  triple  world  record  holder  suffered  a  ten  foot  fall which  has  left  his  entire  right  leg  swollen   and  his  right  knee  in  bandages.

The former West Indies captain posted a video to a social media site that shows him  in  bed  in  high  spirits  explaining  how  he  suffered  the  injuries.

Only last week Lara was at Lord’s watching  the  third  test  match  between  the  West  Indies  and England……….he also attended the CPL T/20  final over the weekend between  the  Trinbago  Knightriders  and  the  St Kitts  and  Nevis  Patriots.
