There was a brief disruption of operations at the Sangster International Airport in Montego Bay, St. James this morning (February 27).
This after a fire alarm was triggered.
The airport’s Manager of Commercial Business Development and Marketing, Sharon Hislop-Holt noted that based on protocols, all persons in the ticketing hall were ordered to exit the building.
She said after assessments were done, the area was deemed safe, and operations have resumed.
She explained that the disruption did not cause any delay in flights.
