Some three hundred jobs are to be added to Jamaica’s Business Process Outsourcing  BPO  sector with the launch of British-based customer service company Ventrica in Montego Bay.

The new site opens this week and is designed to support clients in the United States, United Kingdom and European markets.

President of the Global Services Association of Jamaica, Gloria Henry, notes that she met with a representative of the company a week ago when she hosted him for a tour.

She has welcomed the new addition to Jamaica’s BPO stock.

She noted that several other companies are showing interest in Jamaica at this time.

Ms. Henry added that the country continues to train workers to accommodate the growing sector.
