The Gargamel Buju Banton recently linked up with veteran dancehall producer Dave Kelly, and according to Buju, he has something for his fans.

A short video shared on Buju’s Instagram page on Thursday highlighted a rare sighting of Dave Kelly working in the studio, this immediately sent some fans, including DJ Khaled into a frenzy, as they now eagerly anticipate new music.

Buju Banton and Dave Kelly first merged in the early 90s with Dave Kelly as one of the masterminds behind the Gargamel’s breakthrough album, Mr. Mention. Dave Kelly also did production for the now gold-certified Til Shiloh and is renowned for timeless dancehall riddims such as Showtime, Pepperseed, and Joyride.

So, what does Dave Kelly and Buju Banton have up their sleeves? Well, fans will just have to wait and see.
