Defeated PNP Presidential challenger Peter Bunting has explained that he did not speak, as initially planned, at today’s PNP annual conference, because he is giving the party time to heal.

Mr. Bunting told Irie FM News that he learned that some party supporters were uncomfortable with him speaking.

He also noted that it’s best for him to wait for a more appropriate time, to address the party.

Meantime, Bunting indicated that the reconciliation process is underway.

He said so far, members of the party have displayed efforts at uniting the party.

Mr. Bunting recently lost the presidential election, after he challenged Party President Dr. Peter Phillips.

At today’s conference Dr. Phillips asked Bunting to stand by him at the podium and both men held hands in a show of comradery.
