A patron was reportedly shot and killed at a popular party in Negril last night.

According to reports from the Corporate Communications Unit (CCU) of the Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF), the incident took place at Cayenne Beach at around 3:15 am.

Reports are that the dead man, a Business Man from Millsboro, Kingston also of a Canadia address was shot during a dispute with a security guard. The business man was taken to hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Music News understands that the police went to the event and seized two 9 millimeter pistols.

The security guard is currently not in custody.

Meanwhile, efforts by Music News to get a comment from the event’s promoters were futile.
