A St. Mary businessman was shot and killed at his business establishment in Rio Nuevo, in the parish last evening (Feb.17).

He has been identified as 54-year-old Delray Hall.

Head of the St. Mary police Superintendent Bobbette Morgan Simpson says Hall was pounced upon by a gunman in a mask while standing with his common-law wife.

In the meantime, a 40-year-old man was shot and killed in Lawrence Tavern, St. Andrew yesterday morning.

He has been identified as Omar Grey otherwise called ‘Rasta’, a farmer of George Mason Drive in the area.

Reports are that Grey was walking home when he was pounced upon by gunmen who opened fire hitting him.

He was taken to hospital where he was pronounced dead.
