Prime Minister Andrew Holness  held a special Cabinet meeting today (Aug 28) and a series of consultations on the government’s fiscal policy.

The two day special meeting of Cabinet will focus on a series of discussions on the economy.

Today, members of the cabinet reviewed the progress of the current fiscal policy and examined targets set.

The Cabinet also discussed plans for the budget for the 2018 2019 financial year.

Prime Minister Holness and his team will continue discussions tomorrow.

The Cabinet is also expected to discuss the much anticipated zones of special operations.
