Amidst rising prices for goods and services, Executive Director of the Consumer Affairs Commission (CAC), Dolsie Allen is encouraging consumers to shop wisely.

She says, during these challenging times, consumers must implement various money-saving strategies to survive.

Mrs. Allen says the commission has several tools to guide consumers in how to do so.

The commission also has an app that consumers can use to compare prices across supermarkets throughout the island.

Meantime, Mrs. Allen says, the commission is in the process of developing policies to help consumers.

She says the ultimate aim is to have a population of vigilant assertive consumers, who know their rights and are able to exercise them.

This, she explains will contribute to a better overall economic market.
