Capleton preps for “A St. Mary Mi Come From”

Despite being plagued by legal troubles, Capleton is preparing for the launch of his annual concert, A St. Mary Mi Come From.

On Tuesday, October 9, the event that is big on giving back will be officially launched at the Louis Bennett Garden Theatre in Kingston.

The 2018 staging of A St. Mary Mi Come From has relocated from its usual home in Annotto, St. Mary to Kingston. The event was moved from the entertainer’s birth parish this year following heavy rains that put a damper on the show causing it to flop last year.

Luciano, Louie Culture, Cocoa Tea and Admiral Tibet are just a handful of the entertainers confirmed for this year’s staging of A St Mary Mi Come From, set to take place at the National Indoor Sports Centre in St Andrew, on November 10.

In relating news, Capleton is expected to appear in the St Andrew Parish Court on November 23, where his case is set for mention.

The 51-year-old dancehall deejay who maintains his innocence is facing a rape charge.
