Cavalier have secured the signature of former Portmore United player Paul Wilson.

The 23 year old is expected to turn out for his new team on match day 21 when they take on relegation threatened Boys Town.

Wilson, who is coming from USL outfit Harrisburg City Islanders, had his international transfer completed on Friday, paving the way for him to be in action on Sunday where he will join the likes of Alex Marshall, Chevon Marsh, Nicholas Hamilton and Jhadeen White.

Prior to signing with the Islanders, Wilson represented Jamaica for a number of years.  He began his career with Portmore United FC, representing the club at the U15, U17, U20, and U21levels.  He also played for the senior team and assisted in winning numerous championships for the club.

Wilson represented Jamaica’s U17, U20, and U23 national teams and claimed the ‘Most Outstanding Player’ award for the 2015 CAC games in Mexico. The midfielder was also selected to participate at the Sunderland Academy in the United Kingdom.

Cavalier are currently 4th on 31 points, 13 points off leaders Portmore United who lead the Red Stripe Premier League on 44 points.

The team will be further bolstered with Clarendon College striker Nique Daley and Sheldon McCoy both waiting for the completion of their transfers.
