Several local celebrities showed their philanthropic side on Christmas Day, December 25.

Sprint Queen Shelly-Ann Frazer-Pryce, World’s Fastest Man Usain Bolt, Dancehall Deejay Pamputae and Minister Marion Hall shared Christmas joy through their charitable efforts. The Celebs gifted items of toys, clothing, food and equipment to several communities across the island.

Shelly-Ann gave back to members of her Water House, St Andrew community through her Pocket Rocket Foundation. The Olympic Champion brightened the mood of families within the community by granting their Christmas wishes.

Usain Bolt hosted a surprise pop-up in his Sherwood Content hometown. The Trelawny native and his team drove through the community and distributed toys to the kids and care packages to the adults.

Dancehall Entertainer Pamputae through her Single Mother Foundation donated a wheelchair to a homeless man living on the streets in Kingston. She also made a plea for assistance for the man who has fallen on hard times.

Minister Marion Hall along with members of her church and donations provided a warm meal for the homeless throughout the corporate area.

Throughout the festive season other entertainers have given back to the less fortunate across the island. D’Angel, Romiech, Sean Paul, Shenseea Ding Dong, Bounty Killer among others assisted the needy throughout yuletide season.
