Celebs pay tribute to Kobe Bryant and his teen daughter after crash

Local and international celebrities continue to flood social media platforms with messages of RIP following the sudden death of retired NBA legend, Kobe Bryant.

Kobe and his 13-year-old daughter Gianna along with seven others died in a helicopter crash on Sunday in California.

Tarrus Riley on Instagram says “Rest easy… what is life? #Mamba.”

Grammy-winning Reggae group Morgan Heritage wrote, “My God. We feel for his wife! Prayers to @kobebryant entire family. This way too much. #ripgiannabryant #kobe #family #lifetooshort”

Other messages of condolence came from American Hawaiian reggae band Common Kings, Spice, track legend Usain Bolt, Sizzla, Cardi B, actor Kevin Hart, and former NBA player Shaquiel O’Neil among coutless others.

The Grammys held on Sunday night also paID tribute to Kobe Bryant.

The Grammy Awards kicked off addressing the death of the NBA legend Kobe Bryant at the top of the show. Lizzo dedicated her opening musical performance to Kobe, while host Alicia Keys spoke about his death at the beginning of her speech.

A planned tribute to the late rapper Nipsey Hussle by John Legend, DJ Khaled, Meek Mill, and several other artists, also included Kobe Bryant, with both the late stars’ images projected on to the stage behind the performers.
