Member of Parliament for Manchester Central, the Jamaica Labour Party’s Rhoda Crawford has hit back at criticism from senior members of the People’s National Party, calling their remarks distasteful.

PNP Vice President designates Ian Hayles and Richard Azan criticized Crawford at the party’s Manchester Central constituency conference, on Saturday (July 24).

In response to the comments made by the men, Miss Crawford said they should be ashamed of themselves for the unwarranted attack.

She added that they should focus on other matters, including the internal issues being faced by their party.

Miss Crawford said she is not daunted by their remarks, while adding that the people of Central Manchester elected her to bring about much needed change and that is her focus.
