The 2022 staging of the ISSA Grace Kennedy Boys and Girls Athletics Championships has been given the greenlight for the April 5 to 9 at the National Stadium.

Fully vaccinated fans will also get the opportunity to attend Champs this year.

The revelation from the Inter-Secondary School Sports Association follows approval being granted for the resumption of school sports in the next two weeks with action in Under 19 Girls Netball, Under 19 Boys Basketball, Under 19 Cricket as well as Under 16 Boys football.

ISSA’s President Keith Wellington says a vaccine mandate is in place for all participants.

Competition in Volleyball, Table tennis, Hockey and Girls football will also be staged later during the Easter term and are to be completed by April 30.
