Reggae sensation Koffee’s 2018 infectious single ‘Toast’ continues to break musical borders, positioning itself as a reggae song of choice, even in the diplomatic arena.

Over the weekend, the Chinese Military band in Beijing China performed a special rendition of ‘Toast’ for a Jamaican delegation on international relations business in China.

The delegation included Prime Minister Andrew Holness, who in sharing a video of the performance on his official social media pages said, “It gave me such joy to hear Toast by Koffee by the Chinese Military band. This shows the powerful and far-reaching impact of our music and culture.”

In August, the 44th president of the United States Barack Obama listed ‘Toast’ as one of the top songs on his 2019 summer playlist.
