Jamaica’s leading male squash player, Chris Binnie says he is fired up and ready to compete in the World Squash Federation men’s world team championship, to be staged in Washington between December 15 and 21.

The top-ranked Caribbean player who has worked to successfully overcome an injury suffered earlier this year, will lead a Jamaican team which includes Lewis Walters, brace Burrowes and Tahjia Lumley.

The team will be guided by coach Rene Denis and manager Douglas Beckford.

Ranked in the top 100 players by the world squash federation, Binnie says he aims to improve his ranking by performing well in upcoming international tournaments.
