Chris Gayle to play in T/20 charity game to aid Hurricane victims

by September 27th, 2017

Jamaica’s big hitting batting superstar Chris Gayle is among several stars earmarked for a charity T/20 match to aid Caribbean neighbours whose lives have been ravaged by the recent hurricanes Irma and Maria.

The match is being organised by the Trinidad and Tobago cricket board and will feature a Red Force eleven vs regional eleven tentatively scheduled for October 7 at the Queen’s Park Oval.

The T and T Cricket Board  initiative follows several acts of benevolence and solidarity by the region to assist those afflicted by the devastating category five hurricanes.

Countries such as Barbuda and Dominica are being described as uninhabitable with almost 90 percent of homes destroyed.
