Chris Samuda appointed to Ethics Commission of Pan American Sports Organisation (PASO)

President of the Jamaica Olympic association (JOA), Christopher Samuda, has been appointed to the Ethics commission of the Pan American Sport Organisation (PASO), the Apex continental governing body under which the Pan American Games falls.

The main objective of the commission is to uphold the Panamsports code of ethics, based on the values and principles stated in the Olympic charter.

It is also charged with the responsibility of considering complaints that are made with regard to the non-compliance of these principles both in sports as well as in matters pertaining to proper governance.

The Pan American Games is a major international multi-sport event and the next games will be held from July 25 to august 11, 2019, in Lima Peru.
