Jamaica’s top squash player Christopher Binnie was in a record breaking mood last night after he won an unprecedented eighth men’s title at the Caribbean Area Association’s (CASA) Senior Championships in St. Vincent.
Playing in what was his ninth consecutive final, the defending champion brushed aside Cameron Stafford of Cayman Island 12-10, 11-7, 11-4 .
The tournament now moves into the team competition which will run from today to Saturday .
The Jamaican players are drawn in the tough group a’ where they will face both Guyana and the organization of eastern Caribbean States (OECS) tomorrow.
